Ramiven 100 mg (Abemaciclib)

Abemaciclib is a medication primarily used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

It belongs to a class of drugs known as cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6) inhibitors, which work by inhibiting the activity of CDK4 and CDK6, proteins that regulate the cell cycle and cell division. By blocking these proteins, abemaciclib helps to slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells.

Abemaciclib is typically used in combination with other hormone therapy medications, such as aromatase inhibitors or fulvestrant, in postmenopausal women.
